June round up 2026
CareHQ now features support for SSO (Single Sign-On) and SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management), providing simpler access to CareHQ for those who use a number of applications. We also recently launched the Layers market intelligence platform, along with many other additions and updates.
SSO and SCIM support now available
CareHQ now supports SSO (Single Sign-On) and SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management).
Single Sign-On / SSO is an authentication method that allows users to log in just once using a single set of credentials and access multiple separate applications without the need to remember multiple passwords.
SCIM is an open standard protocol designed to automate the exchange of user identity information between different systems. It acts as a bridge between your central directory (such as Microsoft Entra) and applications that users regularly need to accesss such as CareHQ.
SSO and SCIM are technically separate technologies but depend upon each other for a secure, simple user experience. Once an account has been provisioned by SCIM, the user can select to authenticate through SSO and securely log in. When a user leaves, SCIM can instantly remove or deactivate their account so they can no longer use SSO to log in.
If your organisation already uses SSO and SCIM or is considering implementing this method of authentication and would like to find out more about use with CareHQ, please contact support.
