Fair usage policy

To ensure we provide a responsive and reliable service CareHQ has a fair usage policy.

Why is there a fair usage policy?

We continuously monitor usage of the CareHQ application in order that all users have responsive and reliable access to the service. In the unlikely event that an account consistently exceeds the recommended fair usage limits for one or more features of CareHQ, we will contact you to resolve the conditions considered to be outside of fair use.

What is considered outside of fair use?

We have provided a table of features below that our fair use policy applies to, and usage limits for those features. Each limit is defined on a per location per month basis; for accounts with multiple locations the usage limit is defined for all locations (e.g. no. of locations x the monthly usage limit = total monthly usage limit for the account).

If an account repeatedly exceeds the limits set out in the fair usage policy, we reserve the right to restrict service or levy charges for excessive usage.

Extenuating Circumstances

We understand that accounts may occasionally have periods of activity outside their normal usage patterns. In those circumstances, where it can be predicted, we would request that customers provide us with as much notice as possible to ensure that we can mitigate any potential impact on service.

Changes to the fair usage policy

This fair usage policy may be updated from time to time, and the latest version of the document will be made available on this page.
